Overview

This script shows how to go into earth point state. The spacecraft is equipped with two large rotating solar arrays (SAs) which can continuously track the Sun to ensure maximum power generation. The goals for the earth point are to continuously point the body +Y axis to earth, while also keeping the X axis orthogonal to the sun and the +Z axis as far away from the sun as possible. The main flight software modules used in this script are the following:

• triad: computes the reference attitude for a spacecraft using the triad method to statisfy the requirements of the state.

The script is found in the folder xmera/examples and executed by using:
